WeDesign is a web design and development studio based in Dublin, Ireland. These terms apply to all quotes, proposals and projects unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Projects are typically billed 50% on kick-off and 50% on launch; larger projects may be split into milestones agreed up front. Invoices are payable within 14 days.
The scope of each project is set out in its proposal. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately before we build it, so there are no surprise costs.
You are responsible for the text, images and other material you supply, and for having the right to use them. We are responsible for everything we design and build.
Once the final invoice is paid, you own the deliverables: code, content, domain and accounts, all in your name. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Where we provide hosting, maintenance or support, it is billed as a separate, clearly quoted service that you can cancel with 30 days' notice.
Small, reasonable tweaks once a site is live are part of the job: the typos, wrong opening hours and details you only spot when real people start using it. For anything ongoing beyond that, we can go on a monthly retainer sized to how often you expect to need us. We'll set out the options at handover, so you can decide once you have seen the site in use rather than commit to anything up front.
We build carefully and test thoroughly, but we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our total liability is capped at the fees paid for the project concerned.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
