"Website" covers four very different things. Each section below explains one in the words we'd use over a cup of tea: what it is, what it's like, and when it's the wrong choice.
A set of pages we design and build by hand: home, about, services, contact. There's no engine behind it, which sounds like a limitation but is actually the point. Nothing to hack, nothing to update, and it loads instantly. When you want a change, you ask us and it's usually done the same day.
The same public-facing website, but with a control panel behind it. You log in, click 'edit', and change text, photos, menus or prices yourself. Add blog posts, event listings or a gallery without a developer. Powers about 40% of the web for exactly this reason.
Custom software that runs in the browser. Your customers or staff sign in and do things: book appointments, place orders, track jobs, manage accounts. Nothing off the shelf: we design it around how your business actually works, then build and test it like the software it is.
An app people install from the App Store or Google Play. It earns a place on their home screen and can do things a website can't: push notifications, camera access, working offline, background location. Usually paired with a small web backend so you can see what's happening.
Four questions will point you at the right one. No email required.
